Guest House à recommander car gentillesse, disponibilité, serviabilité du couple d'exploitant particulièrement appréciable. Qualité des prestations très très correctes. Seul "bémol" éloignement de l'axe routier le plus fréquenté (compensé toutefois par l'hôtelier qui se propose de vous déposer à l'arrêt de bus et de venir vous chercher) Si séjour supérieur à 3 jours prévoir location de voiture

The hotel is set on the hillside and is a wonderful location for nature lovers. The staff are very helpful and relaxed - local people with local knowledge.

The hotel is good and the owners, Christian and his wife made us fill at home. It is good value for money, clean. 1 thing, however, access to this hotel is not that easy because it is up the mountain. It is better to hire a car than to take a taxi if you have guts to climb very steep terrain. the first day I could not climb up the mountain when I encountered a slope almost 75 - 80 degrees steep. But the next days it became a piece of cake as I got used to Mahe terrain, you will discover that the whole Island's roads all look like a roller coaster track. Yes you can use the smaller cars like hyundai i10, you don't necessarily have to hire a 4x4. I particularly like the view from our bulcony which was overlooking the thick forest and the Indian ocean, other rooms had bulconies overlooking the garden. This was my first time in Seychelles and I haven't been to any other hotel but I'm persueded that next time I am likely to go back to this hotel.

Leicht zu finden war das Triskell nicht. Selbst die beiden Taxifahrer, mit denen wir gefahren sind, mussten zuerst dort anrufen, um sich die Lage erklären zu lassen. Der Hang, der zum Hotel hinauf führt, ist die nächste Hürde, die nicht jedes Auto nehmen kann. Wenn man dann aber angekommen ist, ist das Eigentümerehepaar sehr freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Sie kochen auch sehr gut, sodass sich das Abendessen im Guesthouse durchaus lohnt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Besonders beeindruckt waren wir vom Badezimmer komplett mit Bidet und großer Badewanne. Lediglich der tiefhängende Deckenventilator war etwas beängstigend. Ein Minus ist leider die Lage, denn das Triskell liegt weit ab von der Hauptstadt Victoria, aber auch nicht wirklich in Strandnähe. Restaurants gab es auch nicht im näheren Umkreis. Man braucht also einen Leihwagen, oder man muss den Bus nehmen. Wir suchten eine preiswerte Unterkunft in Flughafennähe, um den Tag nach Ankunft und vor Abreise zu überbrücken und waren sehr zufrieden.

We were extremely happy staying at La Triskell Guest House. The accommodation and food was excellent and very reasonably priced. The host and hostess were delightful people and could not do enough for our welfare and comfort. Were we to return to the island of Mahe we would definitely stay at La Triskell. Valerie and Brian.

situé sur les hauteurs dans la végetation avec une vue sur mer,il y fait bon vivre avec des hotes très acceuillants,et des repas traditionnels concoctés de main de maitre. Merci à Shirley et Christian.

Despite our exhaustion on arrival at about 6.30 am, we really appreciated the lovely garden and surounding area. We were made so welcome, and given breakfast. even though it wasn't included in the price. The hotel is run by the owners Christian and Shirley, with the help of Shirley's sister Lindi and a help called Newella. throughout our stay we were treated more like friends than clients. Lindi arranged a hire car for us at a very reasonable price, which was delivered to the hotel. The Hotel offers an evening meal at a very good price, the food was exellent , it included three courses, wine and a pre meal drink. whether or not we return to the Seychelles, we will never forget our wonderful experience at Le Triskel.
