"Good Ryokan experience with some caveats"

+ A location with nice views of the mountains and the forest + Room can be easily heated up with two heaters and an AC + Great Japenese hotel experience, not too traditional yet gives the + The Onsen is great, you have private options, public option and also can rent a room with one

- The room was very dusty and dirty when we got into it, the hotel failed at the most elementary thing which is being clean - No hand soap in the bathroom, tried to ask staff, didn't get any - Blanket's cover was very weird to the touch, not nice at all - Window between the main room and the shower room can't be closed from the inside, only the outside - TVs are too strict and don't allow screen mirroring - The window screens aren't blocking light, so a lot of light comes into the room very early in the morning - Dinner is way too extravagant, it's this very long process of five-six course meal that is served one-by-one, I personally found it exhausting as I had to wait for food that I might like. - There's no selection of food in breakfast and dinner, you are simply served an assortment of food with barely any say on it.

Pasamos una noche en el hotel en nuestro viaje de luna de miel. El personal fue muy amable en todo momento y además tuvo un detalle con nosotros. La habitación con onsen privado muy buena. El resto de instalaciones muy cuidados.

Quizá que no hubiera opciones más occidentales en el desayuno.

A great place to enjoy the Onsen experience. The rooms were nice and the private bath were just perfect for us as a family with 2 kids. Loved the special attentions with the outdoor fireplace and free marshmallows. Our kids loved it. And us too…! We then also enjoyed 1 day trekking to kamikochi - easy 5 min walk from the hotel to the big bus stop that offer bus rotations to kamikochi every 30 min (as cars are not allowed in Kamikochi)

המלון עצמו נעים ומטופח, אך חשוב לדעת שארוחות הבוקר והערב מבוססות כמעט לחלוטין על תפריט יפני מקומי, ללא אפשרות לארוחת בוקר מערבית. לצערנו לא מצאנו כמעט מנות שהתאימו עבורנו לאכילה, ולכן פנינו למלון בבקשה לבטל את ארוחות הבוקר, אך בקשתנו לא התקבלה. יחד עם זאת, עבור אורחים שאוהבים אוכל יפני מסורתי, ייתכן שארוחת הבוקר תהיה חוויה טובה מאוד. הארוחה מוגשת בצורה אסתטית ומרשימה מאוד, עם השקעה רבה בהגשה ובנראות.
