お風呂良かった

チェックイン時のスタッフさん 効率を求めてたくさんの人をチェックインさせなくては行けないのはわかりますが、 余裕の無さが見えて快適とは言えなかった。 誘導される方もフロントの方も笑顔や もてなす感じが出てると良いなーと思いました。

The breakfast was very good. Lots of choices and Japanese dishes. The view was outstanding.

The hotel is a little tired looking and could use a refresh. But staff were helpful and everything was clean.

Our room had a large picture window with beautiful views of the harbour with the Christmas tree, Kanemori Warehouse, and Motomachi in the distance. It was a very relaxing place to sit, drink, and read. Family Mart on the ground floor is very convenient. The onsen bath on the roof deck has spectacular views where (by chance) I saw the fireworks on Christmas eve. The Japanese breakfast buffet was also excellent and we also enjoyed Christmas dinner at Casa Norte, the Spanish restaurant, which had a good menu and wine selection.

The staff were generally helpful and courteous but communication can be a problem even if they speak English. Since we were checking out very early in the morning, we made a reservation for a taxi a couple of days before our departure. But when we reconfirmed the taxi reservation the night before our departure, they had no record of the reservation, so we made the reservation again. On the morning of our departure (before 7:00am, it was cold, and snowing heavily) the girl on the check out counter again had no record of our taxi reservation. Fortunately, she called a senior staff who finally sorted it out and called the taxi for us right then and there. It seems there was no need to make the reservation in advance since there are taxis on standby.
