Fletcher Hotel - Restaurant Heiloo

Very helpfull and friendly staff !!! The dinner at the restaurant Kwartje Koffie was very good. The rooms are very clean and peaceful. We stayed here for a 4 days cycling vacation and there for it the location was excellent.

The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff were very nice and helpful. The location is about an hour drive from Amsterdam but the area is very rural and very nice. Bad points: The décor is dated and in places it needs replacing. The shower is not easy to use as it is attached to the side wall above the bath. I found the room very warm at night so I slept with the balcony door open. There is nothing in the area except a few houses, no shops/restaurants. When you checkout they ask for your consumption card even if you didn't eat or drink anything. If you don't have it they automatically charge you 100 euros so don't throw it away like I almost did.

Fletcher Hotel Heiloo is a bit out of the way, situated on a main road, just outside Heiloo. We had already booked online and the welcome was friendly. The nice, smartly decorated and well equipped room was cleverly placed with the entrance passage between the room and the road. The room was pleasantly peaceful. Because we had cycled quite a way that day, we decided to eat at the Hotel Restaurant. We were not disappointed. Service good, food good and sensible prices. This Hotel is reasonably priced and therefore deserves the 4 stars for its Performance.

The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff were really helpful and friendly and the food in the restaurant was great. It is a bit of a walk from the main town/station (about 20 - 30 mins) but generally provides a good central location for exploring the wider area. Overall, good value for money, definitely would recommend and will use again

My husband and I stayed at the Fletcher Hotel Heiloo for one night. We are a couple in the late 30s. We were very excited since the hotel appeared very nice in their webpage and they classified it as a 4 star. We were highly dissapointed. The rooms were more suited for a middle range motel. They were extremely outdated, with furniture from the 80s and the most old fashioned toilet ever. It was not particularly clean, with a suspicious black border around the sink hole (which I detest!). The person at the reception desk (on the morning of the 31st July) was not helpful at all: we did not wanted the 15 euros per person breakfast buffet because we do not eat so much in the morning. We asked if we could have just a coffee and a croissant or a toast, but we were told bluntly that they were not able to accommodate that as they would not know how much to charge! On the positive side, the dinner in the restaurant was very nice. We had grilled prawns and monkfish.... For sure we will avoid Fletcher Hotels in the future!

positives: Nice hotel, lovely cool room temperature, good beds, clean & modern bathroom Good choice of breakfast and good coffee. downsides: No wifi and i think it's a bit pricey Also the shower was a bit inconveniently positioned in the bathtub and the water temperature not quite constant. In conclusion i would recommend the fletcher hotel, it if you want to stay around Heilloo.

If you ever need to go to Heiloo, the Golden Tulip is the place to be. Nice people, warm atmosphere, good food and a small bar. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Free internet in the lobby was a nice perk.

Reception staff are extremely helpful and polite. Room cleaning and towel changes were poor. Administration on the hotel bill was really poor and needed three people to sort it out when we had only to pay for bike hire and tourist tax. Bike hire is expensive for a country extolling its cycle culture. The surrounding contryside is fantastic, especially the extensive dunes area about 5k away. This is super for cycling and walking though bird life is a little sparse. We did not eat at the hotel as the surroundings were only functional with little choice on menu price. Local curry house is handy but pricey. Supermarkets are close by in Limmen and Heiloo. Would recommend Alkmaar cheese market on Friday and the area is good for windmill watchers although they are nearly all the same polder molen.

We stayed two nights in this hotel. It is well located to explore North Holland by car. The rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurant serves really good food - worth trying it - though service was slow, the breakfast was good too. We had our room in the 1st floor, which meant we had to climb a rather steep staircase so if it is a problem ask for a room on the ground floor. We found the the room very silent despite the closeness of the airport and the road, and the bed was good too. It lacks some things (like a fridge in the room) but we booked the room on the internet at a very reasonably price, so overall we think it is an excellent value for the money, and we can recommend it.

The staff were all so friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed 2 fabulous dinners in the lovely restaurant. The room and bathroom were very small but quiet.
