Hotel Hermes

Very Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent position, close to all facilities, room was very comfortable with fantastic view over the harbor, very clean, good breakfast provided and great value for money.

All was great. There was nothing we did not like.

Fantastic location, right in the middle of the new town, 2 minutes walk to the bus station to get to airport and various locations in Rhodes. I chose it because it was 2 minutes to the ferry for Symi, free bus takes you to the port to get on the ferry. Short walk to the old town. Surrounded by shops, restaurants and supermarkets. Breakfast was good and the price was reasonable. Recommend.

Nothing really.

The Hermes is a value for money hotel. we have stayed here many times and will do so again. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is ideal for onward travel by ferry from Kolona port (10-15 min walk). There are many street food outlets close by and the old town is only a 10 min walk. The Hermes is ideal for a 2-3 night stay. One of the things we like (a bit quirky maybe) is that they always manage to find us a brilliant taxi driver for our onward trip to the airport. On this occasion he was polishing the car while waiting for us!

Okay there have to be some negatives. The only one really is that the rooms are becomig a little tired now and the the bathroom in our room was a little on the tigh tside; not the smallest in Rhodes town, we have seen smaller. Otherwise nothing to dislike, after all it is a budget hotel.
