Candia Park Village

המלון כל כך נעים, יפה, עם חוף מושלם ובריכה מעולה. לא המוני, מעוצב בטוב טעם! המינוס היחיד הגדול זה מחירי האוכל והשתייה במלון, ממש מוגזם. כוס קולה עולה 5 יורו, כמו שבסופר עולים 2 ליטרים. חוץ מזה המתקנים מטופחים, הספא מצוין, הצוות אדיב והיה לנו מושלם.

The view was incredible, the rooms were lovely, the rock beach was such a lovely swimming area.

The food prices seemed really high. Prices for buffet dinner were also super expensive considering how much a person can actually reasonably eat.

Sehr viele Kinder, fast alle nächtigen mit 1-2 Kindern. Cappuchino/Espresso kostet beim Frühstück extra. Säfte beim Frühstück nicht genießbar (zu süß). Pool schließt bereits ab 18 Uhr. Altes Mobiliar im Zimmer.

All employees very Kind. They satisfy all our specific requests. The all place is very very nice. Very relaxing atmosphere for families especially. All you need. Bar, swimming pool, beach, etc. Qualità was really good

Better isolation of rooms from insects (like something at the bottom of The Doors to avoid them entering). Prices of extras (bar/dinner/etc) quite high especially in low season.

L’emplacement! Petite plage privée, même un ponton un peu à l’écart. A 5 minutes de Agios Nikolaos, pour les restos ! La petite terrasse est un plus pour manger !

Les prix des conso/resto assez chers par rapport à ce qu’on peut trouver en dehors ! (Pareil pour le spa, plus cher qu’à Paris) Et finalement dommage que la piscine ne soit pas chauffée en avril, impossible de se baigner !

The village itself is an incredible oasis, with so many flowers and picturesque landscapes. Also great kids club, with very nice staff, and super good ice-cream at the gelato shop. However, this is where the good part stops. Everything is nice outside, inclusing the pool and beach, but the houses are old, moldy, and worn out.

We changed 3 rooms to get to one where there was no mold smell. In the standard room category it seems all had this issue and you could see from outside, that all houses were full of cracks and very old. There is no obvious difference between the village view rooms and garden view rooms, they were identical, so we came to the conclusion that they included the most damaged and moldy ones into the cheaper category. I would not usually leave a bad review, especially since they did change our room until we found an acceptable one, but I am upset because the second one they gave us had an existent issue with some infiltration and they offered it to us after they used a good amount of perfume to cover the issue. In 3 days the infiltration was obvious, with the smell building up and a damp floor corner revealing itself, where old marks were on the floor. Insects were everywere inside the room, no nets on the windows or doors. Breakfast was ok, but not something amazing as seen in other comments. Omelette station used literally the same amount of oil as eggs. We tried the almond milk and it was bad, chunks coming out of the bottle, and when we informed the staff they said they will do something but meanwhile left it there for other people to consume. The food in the restaurant a la carte was below average for a greek taverna, while the prices were very very high. We were a group with kids so we used the restaurant every day of our stay, and it disappointed us each time, with not so great food and sometimes veery slow service. kids menu was ok and with nice options, pool bar very nice as well. To wrap up the 7 days experience, a very nice complex, in desperate need of renovation (not only the serenity suites please, with a 2x price...), and an upgrade of the food.
