Vriendelijke personeel en een mooie locatie. Privé strand is prachtig en uitzicht mooi.

Helaas blijkbaar nog echt laagseizoen ondanks meivakantie, waardoor dus ook niet alle faciliteiten in gebruik waren. Dit is niet vooraf gemeld, let hier dus ook als je in april wil boeken. Verwachtingen waren hoog na tips van familieleden, dus dat viel tegen. Overigens wel netjes een voucher gekregen ter compensatie.

Exceptionnel avec des enfants. Plage privée de l'hôtel très belle, espace piscines magnifique Gentillesse du personnel.

The location. The atmosphere. The food.

Room was a bit dark and humid. Only 1 toilet (for a family of 5)...

The evening buffet was quite expensive especially on Cretan Night, as such we only enjoyed the evening buffet once during our stay.

We really enjoyed the village concept - spacious, peaceful, and perfect for families with young children. The kids’ activities were excellent, the breakfast was varied and tasty, and the overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing even though the hotel was full. The location by the sea and the cleanliness of the pools and public areas were also great.

Some areas of the rooms felt outdated and basic, with missing essentials like coffee, tea, or salt. The restaurant food was disappointing, and the service there was extremely slow - even the kids’ meals took almost an hour to arrive, which made it quite difficult with a small child. There’s no complimentary coffee anywhere in the hotel except breakfast, and prices at the mini market were very high. The spa experience was also poor. the treatment was uncomfortable and unprofessional.

My family of four booked the One-Bedroom Serenity Seafront Suite and the pictures of this room are very accurate. The room was impeccably clean and the beds, including the cot for my son, were very comfortable. If you are booking this room with children, then the kids will sleep in the living room on two single beds and you and your spouse will have the separate bedroom. The bathroom and shower were quite nice and worked well as did the air conditioning in the rooms. What really separates this hotel and this room choice is the deck and view. It is absolutely stunning. I would recommend booking the top floor. My husband and daughter went snorkeling one morning with the company on site (MVD) and had a great time. However, if you have goggles, you can certainly snorkel in the water directly in front of the hotel. It is clear and quiet and there are plenty of fish. Also, breakfast is expansive with tons of sweet and savory choices. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. As for dinners, the hotel called us taxis and it was just a short ride into Agios Nikolaos to enjoy some wonderful food and desserts.

This was really a fantastic hotel, so any issues we experienced were minor. The shower door is a bit more see-through than we would have liked given that we were a family and the shower was visible from the main room. The sandy beach area was on the small side, and, as happens at some hotels when they are crowded, the lounge chairs on certain parts of the grounds get "reserved" with towels for the day, so that it is harder to find a chair. (Near the pool, this is less likely as there are tons of chairs set up there.) Again, these are minor things and would not prevent us from returning if we were ever fortunate enough to find ourselves in Crete in the future.
