Ellenborough Park

We stayed here in 2020 during Covid and loved it so after a few health issues made a spur of the moment decision to go without the kids for a relax on Saturday Right from ringing to book you know you are in safe hands, unlike many other high end hotels you are actually talking to someone from the actual hotel who were extremely helpful in meeting your requirements We arrived early and staff just go above and beyond for you , we spent the whole day in the sun by the lovely pool , drinks could be order from the pool and we also had some delicious food brought to us Later we ate in the bar restaurant which was again lovely and then just sat on the lawns with a drink looking out at the lovely views There was a slight issue at breakfast where our hot drinks were forgotten and something was missing from my breakfast but this was soon resolved with apologies , check out was also slightly slow Overall stay though was absolutely great , the staff really couldn't do enough for you , The Grove hotel was previously our go to place but not any more

Breakfast menu was excellent with a wide variety of choice. Well presented and very good . The staff are very pleasant and helpful.

The only drawback is that you have to go outside and walk to your accommodation. However the rooms are tastefully decorated and comfortable. Two basins in the large bathroom is a great idea!

The team (check in and in the main restaurant) were outstanding - naturals at hospitality - thank you. We enjoyed a very high standard of dining in the main restaurant. The main manor is very attractive with quirky features such as the lounge with the open fire.

Pool is too small and overlooked by bedrooms
