Sheraton Grand Hiroshima Hotel

מלון קרוב לתחנת הרכבת והגישה ממנו ואליו נוחה ביותר. החדר שהזמנו היה מרווח, גדול, מואר ונוח, עם נוף מרהיב. למרות שהמלון נמצא בסמיכות לתחנת הרכבת החדר היה שקט. המיטות והכריות היו נוחות ביותר. הצוות היה אדיב וסייע בידנו מספר פעמים לאורך השהייה. ארוחת הבוקר הייתה טובה מאד.

The positive points: Location: right next to the Train Station Hiroshima, so perfect for starting excursions from here via Taxi or Tram. Checking-in: of course, no chance to get into our room before 3PM. But at least we could leave our luggage at the reception. Very helpful staff to get our luggage on the way two days later. Room: Sheraton-like, but luckily a corner room - means away from the elevators, very quiet. Everything inside the room worked fine and actually we had a very good sleep for 2 nights. More international TV channels would be my wish for the future. Most negative point: the Breakfast Both mornings a pure nuisance. The breakfast area - only buffet - has the Charme of a main train station fast food outlet. It´s noisy, with narrow walkways and it seems to be always overcrowded. You get down here at 7 AM and there is a queue, you come at 8 AM and there is a queue. Does not seem to matter much. The service inside is very limited - coffee you have to get yourself (only two machines), tea as well. Eggs: various egg dishes are made fresh, that´s good - but no hardboiled eggs are available. Cheese: one tiny little leftover of a Camembert, two fresh cheeses - that´s it. Variety of Cereals? No lah. A bit of cornflakes in a glass (most customers are Americans), no muesli. The glass with the granola was empty and although I mentioned that to the staff, it had not been filled up again when I left. 6 different glass bottles with juices - 4 of them completely empty. Same thing: no fill-up was done when I left. Wholemeal bread? Nope. When guests leaves, a manager puts the table number flat on the table to indicate to staff they could clean up. That however takes forever….so whilst outside people wait in a queue, 4,5,6 tables would be ready if they had been cleared earlier. Processes are not right, that´s for sure. This „breakfast experience“ definitely is not appropriate for a Sheraton Grand. You have to improve significantly on this part.

L'hôtel était vraiment bien placé, juste à la sortie de la gare. Le personnel était très gentil et serviable, et l'hôtel était propre et agréable. La vue de notre chambre était fabuleuse 🥰 Nous conseillons cet hôtel aux personnes qui souhaitent visiter Hiroshima ou Miyajima.

Peut-être un peu plus de denrées occidentales pour le petit déjeuner si je peux conseiller, il était quand même appréciable malgré tout, et pour le prix de la chambre, pour moi, le mini-bar de la chambre doit être gratuit.

Location ideal. Buffet breakfast rather good. Staff very friendly and professional.
