"Tranquil paradise"

We loved our stay at Temple Tree. The resort is a piece of tranquil paradise and it was one of the highlights of our 3 week backpack. We checked in and were greeted by friendly staff and showed to our room in the Colonial building. The room was absolutely charming and full of uniqueness like no other hotel. If you are looking for soulless, white and sterile this hotel is not for you. We particularly loved the ever helpful staff who were always on hand to help and give advice. Particularly the bar staff (the young chap who loved Oasis and played them for us at night when the bar was tidying up <3) we of course include the cats as staff as they also were part of the reason we loved our stay here (mainly because of Coconut, or as we call her 'Kopi') Overall I would love to come back to Temple Tree and it will remain in my mind and heart for a long time.

Enjoyed our 5 night stay at Temple Tree. Good location away from busy tourist area. Beautifully restored Malaysian properties set in well kept grounds. Nice pool, good food and drinks at very reasonable prices.

Breakfast ok, but could be improved (watered down juices, no cold meat selection)
