Embleton Spa Hotel

This is a lovely hotel, Booked for my husbands birthday as near the lakes distillery which was a perfect location (less than 2 miles away). However as it’s a spa hotel thought we would have opportunity to chill in the spa too, although disappointed as lots of children’s swimming lessons which meant spa only open to hotel guests on minimal times, which we were informed about but after booking, we didn’t realise that bar would be used as parents and children’s waiting area so not a relaxing environment tbh. Didn’t use the spa as didn’t feel it was a relaxing area to de.stress. Food, staff and rooms where lovely.

Very friendly staff attention to detail made our stay pleasant experience

Room was very nice and spacious. Staff were very nice especially the blonde lady at reception. If I had to say anything negative at all it would be how limited the access to the pool is with it being used for private lessons etc. I would definitely stay again though.

A lovely clean and very friendly place with a safe swimming pool for children, and a perfect family room. Alison was super friendly and very responsive to our granddaughter - thank you, Alison. The room was fine, towels freely supplied for the pool, and breakfast buffet and cooked selection perfect. We did think that the evening meal was good but not as fine as suggested in reviews. Large helpings but just nice pub grub.

Fantastic all round. Cannot fault it. Had a lovely family break. Staff friendly and helpful. Everything clean and pool good and hot tub.

Great location. Stayed in Whinlatter 2 bed apartment which was superb with its own veranda and amazing views! TWe’ll definitely be back!

The rooms where lovely the hotel staff are fantastic nothing is too much trouble and the food is outstanding we have never eaten so much! so the pool is helpful to work off the calories (from the deserts!) as is the gym, beautiful grounds and they make you feel totally comfortable just been for 4 days and booked again to take the grandparents with us next time, there is something for everyone and lots of things to do within a short distance, a true gem in the british countryside.

Fab hotel. Great facilities. Stayed in a well equipped, spacious apartment with amazing view. Staff were really friendly & helpful. Would definitely recommend. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
