We're always pleased with the kindness and helpful staff that the pioneer hires. From security constantly walking around checking the premises, to the front desk reception is being very welcoming. We especially like the trailer parking.. A few of the amenities and why we continue to stay here : If you haven't tried bumbleberry flats.. you are missing out., they have Beach access, they have a new pizza/ hot dog location and they sell thrifty ice cream. I travel with a family of three children. And not having to walk through a casino to get to my room is a plus, especially with kids. The pioneer might not be the fanciest, but it checks off all of our needs. We have been coming here for about 9 years.

I wouldn't say I don't like it, but I would like more improvements on the pool facility. A lot of kids and families use the pool at this location. It needs a little TLC.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the atmosphere of the hotel was one of the main reasons we booked this room - so I'm glad to say that my pioneer dream was fulfilled!

We didn't stay long enough to have any complaints!

It was very nice to be able to charge up my EV during my stay. Kudos to the management to facilitate this.

Paperthin walls, could hear loud people in room next door arguing and blaring TV most of the night, whole place was a bit run down, dirty floor

RIVER RICKS PIZZERIA & THRIFY ICE CREAM

Not upgraded, rooms claim queen beds but only has full size. Floor was sandy and not clean.

Overall, I love coming to the Pioneer. The Pioneer has the best room prices. Pizza and ice cream are always on point. Staff are very friendly.

The floors and pictures could use more attention when cleaning.
