"Quite a good location in an interesting area with lots of shops and restaurants in both directions."

Location was a part way between the busy areas of Windermere and Bowness, so pleasant walking distance to both. There is a wonderful walk through the woods just up and across the main road. (The entrance is a bit hard to find by the bus stop.) In the room the small fridge was appreciated and the bed was comfortable and the shower good. The Booths shop and cafe by the train station is excellent.

It was a bit far to walk from the train station, but the bus service is good. The room was fairly small but did have windows for good air circulation. No complaints really.
