We had a great stay. The attention to detail throughout the room was very good, and the decoration was very nice and well thought out. Everything was spotless and felt very fresh and comfortable. The TV had Netflix, which was a great bonus. Steve and Vicky were very friendly and welcoming. They made sure we were comfortable and kept checking that everything was okay, letting us know we could ask for anything we needed. The room also had a handy little fridge, and we loved the QR codes provided with information about nearby restaurants and local attractions. At night it was extremely quiet, which made for a very relaxing and restful stay. A very good experience. We would definitely stay again and strongly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Great location not far from Windermere station and bus stops. Met Steve the host on arrival, he was very helpful and text to make sure I’d found the bus stop, room was nice and comfortable.

Location - ideally situated between Windermere and Bowness so both were within comfortable walking distance. Room was tastefully decorated / furnished and very comfortable. Very well stocked hospitality tray with plenty of tea and coffee (including ground coffee and a cafetière), orange squash and some biscuits and flapjacks. There was also a small cooler in the room big enough for a bottle of wine or bottles of water, plus another fridge in the entrance hall if more space was needed. Lots of lovely little touches, like a selection of books on the bedside table, a blackboard in the entrance hall with suggestions of places to eat, local attractions and walking routes to try and even a print out of the day’s BBC weather forecast next to the front door! We didn’t meet the hosts Steve and Vicky but were given plenty of information about check-in, collecting keys etc and they checked in with us via text during our stay to make sure we were happy with everything. Really enjoyed our couple of nights stay and will definitely be back!

Comfortable beds, relaxing decorations and aesthetic. Great location - a short walk (~10 minutes) to both Windermere and Bowness-on-Windermere.
