"Great place to stay to explore the lakes"

Communication from the host was excellent from start to finish. The thoughtful treats left in the room added a really personal touch and made me feel very welcome. The entrance area was full of helpful leaflets with things to do, and the lovely blackboard highlighting Lake District hikes, towns, and places to visit was a great addition. The property was clean, and the location was superb, with plenty of parking available. I briefly met the host, who was very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again. Interior of the room was lovely with photos of the Lakes … cute books to read also in the room

Would be nice if check out was at least 11

We did not opt for the breakfast. The information displayed gave us a very good idea on planning the trip. The house is ideally located between Windermere railway station and Bowness on Winderemere. This property is an excellent choice for couple who travel by public transport. The best part is the Check in is from 11AM and check out by 10 AM gives you exactly sufficient time to explore the place without having to carry your luggage,

"Fantastic guest house at a great price and will most definitely be staying again!"

The location was excellent. Room was comfortable and clean. Thoughtful little gestures from the owners, like homemade treats in the room and squash. Even the blackboard in the entrance with little recommendations of places to eat, walks etc. Free parking on the road outside is great!

Easy to find, plenty of parking, all the facilities we needed for a little break (mini fridge, hairdryer, iron/ironing board, kettle, tea/coffee/milk, tv with Netflix etc.). Perfect sized room, lovely decor, great location and within walking distance from restaurants and pubs. (Photo taken from a video I took hence the awful quality but we stayed in room 1 😊)

Very easy to find equidistant from Windermere and Bowness (best of both). Very friendly owners, great assuring communications via text and emails. We didn't need anything but 2nd guess from the Comms that nothing would have been a problem if asked. Great room and Lakes information.

Can't think of anything.
