The bedroom was very comfortable, and had everything I needed.

Breakfast was described as continental, but was principally cereals and toast. There was no cheese or cold meat, which is usually found in a continental breakfast.

"Lovely weekend break"

My son and I were looking for somewhere in this area to stay as we had been invited to a birthday event locally. We were so pleased to discover this lovely place and booked for the weekend. What a find! Super friendly staff, very welcoming and we loved our room. Spotless. Very impressed with the coffee machine!! We enjoyed the food and hospitality. Would highly recommend and look forward to visiting in the future sometime. Thank you Chris and team.

Lovely stay at The Trooper Inn. If I had the time I would have stayed longer than one night. Cosy, friendly pub with a lovely en suite bedroom. The bathroom was sparkly clean, the bed comfy with a self service breakfast that catered for most tastes.

I have no complaints, I could have stayed for much longer!

"Disappointing won't use again"

Not informed until after the booking was confirmed that the restaurant did not open on a Monday by which time it was was too late to cancel! Also extremely slow sending pin code for room entry. Our employee was told it would have been sent when in fact it was sent after he'd queried it with someone on site!
