Ideal location for our visit to the area to attend an event. Both pub and accommodation was really good, pub was beautifully decorated, staff very welcoming, food was really good, service was a little slow but worth the wait, breakfast was just enough and very enjoyable. Our room was exceptionally clean always lovely to see lovely clean bedding and white fluffy towels

We wish we had requested a ground floor room due to having a small dog and having to take him up and down the stairs

Location was ideal of where our commute was to the morning after. Able to park, wasn't too far a walk to the room and that was potentially being the furthest away. My friend was able to charge his electric car, although it was a basic 13amp charge (not super charger) it helped out massively to charge overnight. Staff, food and everything was faultless.

I didn't like the abundance of "free breakfast" being advertised but then near the bottom of the page it then states a cooked breakfast comes at an additional cost. I think it needs to be considered this marketing could potentially cause problems & or cancellations as I was tempted to cancel myself. Not everyone wants a continental breakfast. I think this "free breakfast" needs to be made very clear at the top of the page. Could have done with an iron and ironing board in the room and maybe a mini fridge, also flannels in the bathroom. Apart from these, I would without hesitation stay again and will definitely stay again next year when our golf trip gets booked. Many Thanks Cricketers!!
