"Worth a trip in the country. "

Fantastic comfort and setting for a restful stop. The house has been beautifully done without losing its character. Wonderful owners made for a great visit for our family.

"Relaxation away from everything"

We only spent one night here but had a relaxing stay and enjoyed the breakfast. Great pet friendly accomodation. The only negative was the squeaky floorboards and poor soundproofing between our room and the room next to us

"A delight in Cumbria"

The farmhouse is well situated and very inviting. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and served In the conservatory which had lovely views over the garden.

"Perfect Family farm stay"

Really friendly family orientated place. We stayed for 2 nights & the owners were really accommodating of of 2 kids & dog. Brilliant breakfast - you get to choose exactly what you want hotel style- nice touch. We will be back for sure

"Great stay"

It was only a quick stay as we were travelling from Forres to Bristol and needed somewhere to stay halfway, but we were warmly welcomed. The Hotel was really clean and both the room and bathroom were epic and the FOOD! Quality.

"Lovely settings, friendly owners."

This hotel is a little out of the way but the service and friendliness of the owners make up for it. Nothing was too much trouble. They even made an evening meal for me even though they don't normally. Food was lovely and breakfast was perfect.

"My Best Overnight ever"

Simply put..... The best overnight stay I have had in 2 years of being away 2/3 nights per week with my new job. The welcome was warm and very friendly, you are made to feel like family or visiting a good friend. Merlin the resident collie was great company too. The breakfast only get 5 stars because you don't go up to 10. Beautifully cooked and presented and the view was spectacular too. Simply pu , If you are in this area... Stay Here even if the drive is a little further.
