The Jolly Drover

Food was first class. Location great for walks. Prices good.

Stayed here with our dog, what a lovely find the jolly drover was. Room a good size, very comfy bed, staff made a fuss over our dog, breakfast was excellent, would have liked to have had an evening meal that, but visiting relatives and they had other plans. Next time, because there will be a next time. Staff lovely, nothing was too much trouble. Word of advice, grab to two comfy sofa’s next to the open fire. Heaven

We stayed at the Jolly Drover for 2 nights. A warm & polite welcome when we arrived in the pub to check in. We were in Room 3. It had everything in the room we needed. They are separate from the pub at the side. Very clean,comfortable & quiet. Had a lovely nights sleep. We had dinner in the pub on the first night which was lovely (fish & chips). We also had breakfast for 2 mornings . It was amazing! Fresh local produce . A wonderful fry up! Tea/coffee & cereals,fruit,yoghurts,toast is also available. All the staff were very polite & welcoming. We would highly recommend this place. Excellent value for money😊

I thought the staff were very good and the food was good.

The whole site was in need of a good tidy and cleanup.

We arrived for an early supper we hadn’t booked thinking mid week would be quiet!! However within 10 mins the pub was packed but despite that the staff were friendly & very efficient and all 4 of us had a very tasty meal. Will definitely be going back again. Well done to the staff 😊
