The Jolly Drover

Stopped in for a quick lunch after driving past & thinking it looked lovely - & we were right. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff, & that friendly welcome continued throughout our visit. We had our dog with us and he was made to feel very welcome too. We both had the soup for lunch, which was delicious, & the rest of the menu looked great, so we’ll definitely be back to try more dishes next time we’re in the area. Thank you to all the staff for such a friendly welcome!

Lovely bed and fab shower - good having an iron and hairdryer too and lovely selection of drinks too

The heating hadn’t been on in the room so it was cold when we arrived - but it did heat up quickly when we turned it on

Car was in garage (White Rose) next door so popped in for lunch. Very impressed, food and service great. I highly recommend the fish finger ciabatta! First visit to both garage & pub and will definitely be going back to both.

Room spotless; The bed!!!! Comfyist bed I ever did sleep in! Bathroom big enough for a party. Lovely towel warmer. Big choice of high quality beverages. Iron, board. Most things one might need. Restaurant food good (liver was beautiful) with prompt service. Breakfast excellently cooked.
