Staff very friendly, attentive & always there if you needed them. Excellent food & well stocked bar. Plenty of attractions in the area to visit but be aware of the single track roads in & out of the village & surrounding areas.

Nice rural location in Dartmoor village. Room nice but small. Cleanliness poor, spiders and webs in corners. Earliest breakfast time 9:00am is too late when you have plans for the day. TV too small, around 19" and smaller than regular computer monitor. No window other than skylight. Room lighting poor. No full length mirror, no shower mat. Toilet not flushing properly.

My husband and I stayed at the Inn for one night to celebrate his 50th Birthday and to go walking in Dartmoor for a few days. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, Dinner and Breakfast were delicious and the staff and service was brilliant. We would definitively recommend a visit.

Lovely little pub with charming staff.

We stumbled upon this place by accident. What a great find! Quaint little village set in a tiny valley with a river running thru it. Pheasants scurrying about the daffodils. Beautiful. Nice room. Both dinner and breakfast were very good. The best sausages I’ve had since arriving in the UK. A great stay.

Lovely little pub off the beaten track. Owners and staff coulnnt be more helpfull. Food was great and had a lovelly stay

The staff were fantastic. The property had issues beyond the staffs control. No heating (waiting on a part). Apparently had Gas issues and could only cook certain foods. We did get a small oil heater for our room. The room itself was great. Comfortable and the bed was awesome. Here's a thought, if your going to be dog friendly, maybe a dog bin would be a great addition. Overall we had a nice stay, just had problems beyond our control.
