Cosy welcoming 16 century well kept pub.staff very welcoming.comfy beds. Great food. Village was just beautiful. Fantastic for walking around the moors. Thanks for a memorable stay.

Lovely pub with free parking. Room was very clean and comfortable. Food was good and not expensive. Pub is in a very quiet location with lovely walks. There are no shops etc in walking distance. Nice owner called to ask if I wanted ti book a table for dinner, which was just as well because it was very busy. Pub opens at 6pm and check in was at 5.30 pm when staff arrives.

It was brilliant. Lovely big room and quiet. Restaurant was busy but not rushed - plentyof time between courses.

Clean lovely. Separate entrance which was quite nice. Great breakfast and really fri. Only stayed one night would definitely return if in area.

This is a beautiful, quaint, quiet and excellently run pub. The two rooms are really well appointed and comfortable. The food was delicious and the service friendly and efficient. Its a hidden gem!
