Lovely room, good food, good customer service, friendly.

Difficult lanes to get to the pub, very narrow & you have to reverse if someone is coming the other way. When I eventually saw somebody (15/20mins) was asked I got in. Booking said check in from 3 but they don't open until 6. I arrived about 5pm. Landlord very nice but locked up after I was shown to my room! Breakfast was not until 9, which did not say on the booking but they kindly made it for 8.15am. I was only person staying. There is no phone signal either which I didn't know. Could have done with a fan in the room as there was only a skylight for air. No opening windows even in the bathroom & it was a hot day.

Apart from not being able to get in until 6pm, this is a great place to stay. Friendly staff, lovely modern room and great service. They also have a lovely dog!

Wejust stayed for one night. Food excellent staff very friendly andwelcoming would definately stay again. We broght our dog he also had a good stay.
