We stayed at the in for 4 days. It is a great location. The staff is spectacular, quite accommodating. They serve an excellent breakfast. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The pool overlooking the coastline is breathtaking. We enjoyed the stay.

"Close to Perfection with Perfect Views"

If we hadn't stayed at the Therasia on Vulcano the week prior, this would have definitely been a 5 star review...I'm still thinking I'm being harsh only awarding 4 star! The Ashbee is everything the 5 star reviews say. We didn't want to stay at one of the 'big and busy' *****L hotels, such as the one on White Lotus. We wanted a quiet, boutique retreat and The Ashbee was perfect. Thank you Bruno and team. The hotel is meticulously clean and up to date for such an old, charming property. Surely, the rooftop and poolside areas are the most magnificent in all of Sicily?? The main reason for docking a star was the 'everything is too much trouble' attitude of many staff. If you wish to sit on the terrace in the evening and have a snack, you can't!! I was told I have to go to my room to order room service and we must eat it in the room (our room was just across from reception and the kitchen btw. We had some other similar experiences which took the shine off things. I might add two of them were related to the St George staff, but it all comes across as the same thing. Don't let me put you off - great hotel and staff but I hope the management take note of the note above!

It’s quite fabulous Beautiful grounds, with jaw-dropping views An easy walk to the beautiful downtown area and lots of lovely restaurants The staff is excellent and helpful The rooms are extraordinary with high-quality linens and extraordinary views The balconies are spectacular My photos will tell this same story you can see with your eyes
