"Very comfortable and welcoming hotel"

Close to railway station for our dinner train. Easy walking distance if it wasnt raining. Friendly staff and fantastic breakfast

"Great B&B in lovely Queenscliff "

What a lovely small bed and breakfast! We stayed here for a night but could of stayed here for a week- there was a large comfortable bed, luxurious bedding- a great shower and bath combo (great for two people). I opted for the balcony and I think the extra few dollars makes it well worth the money as it adds a nice place to hang out and enjoy the views. Overall very impressed and will be hopefully come back again (For much longer) The complimentary breakfast was awesome with fresh juices, yummy hot chocolates and amazing pancakes.

"easy walk to ferry and train"

Went on ferry to stay to meet friends for lunch on the Q Train. Had drinks back at Athelstane House. Very welcoming, great breakfast.

This lovely old house was a perfect stopover for ourselves and friends visiting from the UK. The staff were attentive, friendly and cheerful. The room was comfortable and pleasant and the dinner/breakfast menus superb. As an advertisement for Queenscliff, Athelstane House is up there with the best the area has to offer. Thank you to Laurel et al for making us feel so welcome.

"Wonderful experience"

From the moment we got there, we were welcomed with kindness. Everything about the experience was exceptional. From being in a cosy home environment to a comfortable bed and delicious breakfast. I recommend staying at the Athelstane House, we stayed just the 1 night but will return again for a longer stay.

"Great place in a great town."

We were very pleased with our stay. Laurel and staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and facilities excellent. We will definitely return.
