Auchrannie Resort

We loved our stay - it's a large resort that somehow manages to cater to everyone (families, couples, solo travellers) and the staff were some of the best I've ever encountered in a hotel anywhere. The facilities were spotless and looked very new. We'll be back!

We stayed at Auchrannie during the Easter holiday. Normally we would stayed at the lodge, but this time we chose their hotel room. So room was good, there’s tea/coffee and biscuits in the room. The only thing that I would pin point is their quality of mattress. We found it a wee bit hard to sleep on. Otherwise, it was good. The room feels tight because we asked for a baby cot, but manageable. Breakfast was excellent. You get to order the hot breakfast from the staff, good selection, really! Continental breakfast provided on their table and I can see that they used Arran food products in their spread. I think that’s a nice touch since we are in Arran after all. We enjoyed our breakfast very much! We ordered Cruize for dinner and was told to collect them as they don’t deliver to our hotel room. I think that’s a wee bit annoying as we have got a toddler with us and we were exhausted. It would have been nice if they could deliver. The staff that took my order via phone made a mistake so I had to wait for extra 10 mins. I think next time the staff should repeat the orders to the customer so that this kind of things will not happen. Overall, a nice stay. We stay at Auchrannie on an annual basis but this is our first time staying at their hotel. Keep up the good work!

Very friendly, helpful and professional staff. Great facilities. Very good catering. Within walking distance of Brodick.

Another fantastic visit to this great hotel. As usual the staff are a credit to the place and food lovely. A highlight was the newly opened Hamiltons bar and lounge area. Tastefully planned and designed and great place to relax in the evening near the welcoming open fires.

This is our second visit to Auchrannie and won’t be our last. Wonderful place to stay for all the family of all ages. Clean and spacious rooms, delicious food and a range of facilities to keep everyone occupied. Also very dog friendly! This review is more towards the service we received in relation to my son has a peanut allergy. Firstly, the service we received on both visits at dinner time in the Cruise restaurant was top notch. Staff are aware, informed and most importantly ensured that my son was looked after and provided for. Educated and well trained staff provided us with a feeling of confidence to allow us to enjoy the experience. Lots of choose for my son. We used the allergy tablet and his food was cooked separately. Again, wonderful service! We highlighted a couple of issues in relation to breakfast/snacks and the follow up from management has been second to none in relation to this and all issues addressed. My concerns were heard and addressed and I was given positive feedback. The staff of Auchrannie are wonderful. I cannot recommend this place enough for families and especially with people with allergies. I cannot wait for our next visit!

Loved it all

I bought my fiancée an overnight at the resort from Itison for her birthday present. We were not disappointed at all and our whole experience was wonderful! We were impacted by cancelled ferries and the staff alleviated our stress by promptly allocating us a room. Will definitely visit again!
