Keeping our room clean.

Mattress need throwing away really poor quality. Shower was electric water pressure really bad when hot water comes on. Room service people came in without notification and everyday when we returned back at night in room could not enter in room. So had to keep getting it activated every night when asked why was told because of room service our card would become deactivated. I requested a ground floor due to disability well in advance but gave me 1st floor disgusting.

Rooms are clean and the staff are very helpful..

In the single bedroom toilet there is vent pipe is not taken out as a result foul smell is the toilet.

Cheap and okay for the price

Booked for this hotel, arrived provided ID, signed paperwork and made payment of the deposit required. After all of this they then say they have no room available and to go to the best western (apparently their sister hotel). Just frustrating as if I knew this before I would have just gone to best western as right near the station and was walking in the cold (10-15 min walk)

I stayed at the Britannia Hotel last month, and my experience has been incredibly frustrating. I left the room in good condition when I checked out, and the staff confirmed that I would get my £100 deposit back. However, I still haven’t received it. What makes this even worse is that the £100 deposit was more than the price of the room itself, which has made the whole situation even more disappointing. I’ve emailed the hotel several times since my stay, but they have not responded at all. A hotel should return deposits promptly and communicate with guests, but that hasn’t happened in my case. Because of this, I cannot recommend the Britannia Hotel. The lack of professionalism and complete silence from them has been very upsetting.
