"Good value for the money"

8.0

We were more than happy with our stay at Diamond Palace. The staff were extremely polite and helpful, arranging our onward tickets for bus and our visa for vietnam. The room was spotless, clean towels daily and the bed wascomfy. Our breakfast was perfectly adequate. Bar prices were average and food was good. Value for money we could not complain at all. Walkable to tiown, palace etc. (Have to walk past a couple of massage parlours and area a little run down, but would certainly go again.

"Courteous and friendly service OK hotel"

8.0

We stayed 2 nights in Diamond Palace. Good hotel but the location is not great., However not too far to the river front although the hotel brochure mentions a river front view which is non existent. Reception and cafe service was great; good breakfast and staff were ready to provide information. We had a great tuk tuk driver who was very helpful who was recommended by the hotel. Hotel located close to several attractions. Clean and decent service for the price paid.

"Good stay, poor location."

8.0

Diamond palace was a nice hotel in a decent area. it was pretty far from the main riverfront area but not a terrible walk. our room had no windows and that was not the nicest thing in the world but really not that big of a deal. bathroom was nice and the air con worked well too. we had a good breakfast there each morning and service to town was readily available via tuk tuk. good stay. i would recommend it for someone willing to put the effort each day to go back and forth to and from the river area.

"Quiet, clean, secure"

8.0

Impressed that for once the room was just like the internet photos - very spacious, huge bathroom too; good cable tv showing Cambodian/Thai/French and English language channels. We slept well - happy to have a room without windows and well back from the road so no noise. The free breakfasts and coffee each day were a nice start, and staff were very polite and friendly. Our sole complaint would be that the hotel allows smoking in the cafe/restaurant; twice we left to dine elsewhere due to smokers - in particular one with cigars. It's location is not ideal, while we walked to the central river area several times - 20 minutes - this would not suit everyone. There are always tuk-tuk (local taxis) outside the hotel and a cheap trip to city centre or markets.

"Clean Hotel - Good Value"

4.0

This hotel is clean and serves a great coffee. Make sure to check the showers for hot water. Our friends had a room that smelled like sewage and the hotel was full the first night. It's a little ways from the main strip but it's $1 or $2 by tuktuk. Lots of great massage venues in the area - make sure to go to a legitimate one.

English is spoken widely in Phnom Penh. Tourism has increased which has increased the development of the country. The hotel has an elevator and is decent for the money.

"Diamond Palace Hotel - Great Service"

8.0

Hotel staff are friendly, and the rooms are a great value for the price. The only thing is the hotel is not located right next to a lot of the markets - but only a short tuk-tuk ride away. Internet service is also very reliable. I would definitely stay at Diamond Palace again.
