The Fig Tree B&B

Our stay was fine. The owner gave us a great overview of the property and offered suggestions about what to do on Kangaroo lsland. She provided items for a great continental breakfast in the room, which fit our travel plans perfectly. Room was clean and well equipped.

Great value for money , very clean , tidy comfortable and cosy place with generous breakfast.

Close to ferry. No need to drive far if you arrive late. Has a kitchen (shared) that you can prepare meal. Light breakfast is provided with bread, cereal, yogurt and juice.

It’s quite hard to find the entrance in the dark as this is no light. Facilities are a bit outdated and not clean enough. There are noises from some equipments during night. So didn’t quite rest well.

Availability of a kitchen to make an evening meal. There was nowhere to eat out without driving which was dangerous at night because of the wildlife. It could be made clearer before arrival that this is available.

A little difficult to find the room arriving late and in the dark.

I found the property to be well below a standard that i consider acceptable for a let property. The property was messy and unkempt, and detracted from our overall island experience

The Fig tree B&B was in a ideal position for the ferry and touring. We were disappointed by the untidness of the exterior of the property but staff were friendly and rooms clean and tidy with tea and coffee making facilites.

The separate kitchen area is great, and the space in the room has been used well
