"Clean & friendly"

8.0

I just stayed one night after a 1am arrival in Lima. Everyone was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The location is the middle of nowhere but for what I needed it served. They offer an airport pick up service at the airport for 30 soles, which is about three times the cost. You are better to catch a cab outside, of which there are many. Departing, I got lucky leaving as a taxi driver lives across the street and was just starting his day. I don't know how easy it would be to order a cab to the hotel. The hotel offers the same overpriced taxi service for leaving.

"Perfect for a short layover"

8.0

Its in a very ordinary neighborhood, but the owners are great and the rooms clean and spacious. I would definitely stay again for a layover given how close to the airport it is.

"OK - close ish to the airport"

6.0

The hostel was ok. It was about 10 mins from Lima Airport. The room was ok but there was little hot water and no air con and it was quite warm in the room. The also made a fuss about me booking my transfer taxi saying that even if I was late or didnt catch my transfer that they would charge me still for it, yet when I arrived at arrivals they didnt bother to turn up, so I had to ring them to get me which was quite annoying seeings as they had made such a fuss about me having to pay for my transfer either way. There isnt a lot on offer of nice hostels/hotels near the airport (unless you want to pay loads for the Ramada which is onsite) so there is not a lot of choice so I guess you get what you pay for. So it was just OK.

"Great bargain for being close to airport"

8.0

Really a good choice for a short stay near the Lima airport. Neighborhood is safe; family who runs it is efficient and friendly. Room bigger and more comfortable than expected.

"Near Lima Airport"

6.0

Hotel Las Fresas is a good budget choice for people needing an overnight stay near the Lima Airport. The hotel arranged transportation to and from the airport for us, though it was late coming and going. Our room was small but comfortable. Wifi worked well in the evening but seemed to be off early the next morning.

"Thank god we were only there one night"

6.0

We flew in in the evening and left the next morning so all I can really comment on is the room itself and this hotel had the smallest double bed I have seen in my life and after a long flight it would have been nice to have a regular sized bed. Also as a FYI, the area it is in was not very nice and we slept with the windows closed which made the room a bit warm. This is what my wife would call "a real dive" but for the 8 or 9 hours we used it for it would have been tolerable if the bed was bigger
