- Cosy and quaint hotel in a lush garden - Very friendly staff - Good location if you have a car - Good sized room with a lovely view on the garden - Breakfast was a few buffet items and then a selection of cooked breakfast with arrived fast

- The bed was a bit hard but ok for 1 night - The breakfast could have maybe done with a bit more of a sweet item (e.g pancake?) selection and the scrambled eggs could be improved (a bit watery and not seasoned)

The history, the comfort, and the placement by the Lake. Also, the staff were accommodating, especially during drink and dinner service, when they fixed what wasn’t quite right on the first try. Breakfast was divine!

We had a very nice stay at the Lindeth Howe, it is clean and welcoming.. The decor is lovely and quirky with many references to Beatrix Potter who actually owned the building, she apparently purchased it for her Mother.The situation is good as it stands above Bowness so that you are out of the busy area. The gardens are beautiful and relaxing... Very well tended. We were lucky as the Azaleas and Rhododendrons were in full bloom. We enjoyed the food which was tasty and nicely presented by helpful and friendly staff. If ever in that area again we would certainly stay there.
