Staff accommodating by moving us to a different room due to a very loud fridge and bright light on the telly

Stairs going upstairs not safe - big gap on the side of the stairs, both levels, stairs uneven.

The staff were friendly and helpful when I needed anything. The room was a good size.

Reception smells really bad. Our pillowcases had stains on them and we needed to request new ones, , there was a wet cleaning cloth left in the bathroom, and overall the room was dilapidated and grubby. The bathroom door kept falling off its hinges and our TV worked only intermittently...we kept it on all day for fear it wouldn't restart if we turned it off. We could feel the springs in the beds, which was quite uncomfortable. Overall, we just needed a place to stay and my boy enjoyed the spa bath in our suite, but we just tried to spend as little time there as possible.

Location was handy

The whole room needs a thorough, deep, clean. I could not use the oven or cooktop as it was filthy, the bathroom grout is discoloured/ mouldy
