B&B HOTEL Colmar Liberté 4 étoiles

We chose the Roi Soleil Prestige as a base for touring the Alsace wine region. The hotel was easy to find, had ample car parking, spacious, welcoming (with English speaking staff) the rooms were large and comfortable, breakfast each morning was good. As the title says - it was difficult to fault. We are already thinking about a return stay to visit the regions xmas markets. I have no hesitation in recommending the Rio Soleil Prestige.

We lived loved our room! So much room and storage! Fantastic bathroom! Great location....easy access to all Alsatian towns. Breakfast was wonderful as well!

Nice hotel near the airport about 10-15 minute drive to many tourist attractions in Colmar. Facilities were modern and very clean. I would stay here again if I’m the area.

Clean hotel with good air con. On the outskirts of town but easy to drive and park in Colmar. Coffee maker in room but no tea option or milk.

We were in Colmar for a long weekend, cycling and looking arouind the town. The hotel is in an area of light industry but is is spotlessly clean, modern, well organized and very good value for money. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It turned out to be a a good starting point for our cycle rides. It is about a 15 min cycle ride or 10 minute drive into the centre of Colmar. There is even a "beach" on the small lake next to the hotel. Colmar is well worth a vist

It was the best stop over we have ever stayed in on route to Switzerland. Perfect clean brand new condition. Wish we had stayed for breakfast! Will stay again every time we go!

Easy access. Friendly staff. Room was refurbished but very small.

The hotel is in good condition, clean - although the hallway carpets could do with a shampoo. Complimentary espresso coffee for the first day of stay - you buy the pods later (.50 euros each - not a big deal). Nice breakfast area with both hot and cold options in the morning. Excellent and clean bathroom with separate w/c. Hot towel bar handy to the upscale shower. Staff ready to help when/if required.

This was my second stay in this hotel but this time I was travelling by car and waited until last minute before booking as I wasn't sure I would arrive in Colmar on time. The first time was perfect, and this one too although I didn't stop for the excellent buffet breakfast as I was leaving early in the morning to continue my journey. It's a lovely hotel just off the motorway and is ideal for visiting beautiful Colmar too. The La Boucherie restaurant next door should be best avoided if possible; it's noisy, the food is very over-priced and grossly under-cooked meats inedible , and waiter service is appalling - I used it for evening meal and had forgotten how bad it was.
