There is a two-night minimum that is required on weekends for Fridays and Saturdays from 9 June through 2 September. ***Please note: Only select rooms or cottages can accommodate dogs under 50 pounds. Maximum of 2 dogs. Dog fee is $50 per pet, per night. The staff was wonderful. We booked 3 rooms as we were traveling with family. Deb made sure my elderly mom had an easily accessible room, reminded me that the Shadowbrook restaurant would send their classic cab for us (which was a nice birthday surprise for my mom) and in general was warm and welcoming. And, when I managed to leave some clothing items in the closest, I was called and informed and they immediately shipped me everything. Really nice!

Our bed was a bit lumpy/soft.

We had a lovely stay at Ocean Echo. The room was nicely updated, spacious and clean and we loved the location away from the busier parts of Santa Cruz. The kitchenette was sparely equipped, but we didn't plan to cook anyway. Unfortunately, the beach had flooded, so one of the best aspects of this location wasn't really accessible, but- it's October...The walk along East Cliff Drive in the morning was still lovely and the beaches were accessible close by. The continental breakfast was the best assortment for my taste of any I've had in similar lodgings. Thanks, Deb! The staff are friendly and helpful and we would stay again.
