Once upon a time this hotel was very good but nowadays it is rundown and outdated. Pretty dirty and unsanitary, no staff on premises. The front desk clerk was trying hard to accommodate our needs but the hotel is nothing as shown in website pictures. I do not recommend to stay there. Overall Manual Antonio is not somewhere i would stay again. Area around the hotel and park where like slums.

El hotel esta super bien ubicado justo en la entrada al parque manuel Antonio y a 2 min caminado de la playa publica me parece no hay otro con mejor ubicacion. El servicio es bueno, las habitaciones amplias y limpias. Recomendado.

the wifi was terrible terrible terrible which affected the tv and the food was subpar the service was beyond wonderful and the room was great plus staying in a rear room the monkeys came to our room/patio in the morning which was such an amazing experience for me and my kids. Also they have a great kiddie pool, I wasnt able to do the roof top adult pool bc of the kids but even though the wifi was an issue it was a great experience. Plus the location near to the beach and Manuel Antonio Park ENTRANCE right there is great

It is the middle of Covid 19, I live in the Central Valley, so I came to support Manuel Antonio area. First time staying at the San Bada. Very nice, very few guest because of the virus, but hotel was clean, staff was friendly. Jefferson had my coffee ready for me early in the morning, as he promised. Love the pool. Very close to beach and Manuel Antonio Park! I’ll be back!

"great location, room not as nice as I expected "

Fantastic location. Pool was beautiful and well maintained. Staff friendly. Room was less than expected for the price. Hair dryer didn’t work, coffee pot didn’t work and the toilet was loose enough you had to very carefully sit down on it.

Wonderful staff- made an extra effort to know us & help with any questions. Beautiful property with room & balcony facing a beautiful beach. The sound of surf lulled us to sleep. Awesome pool, literally steps from Manuel Antonio Park & small shopping, restaurant street area.

"Damp linens and musty smell. "

First room had a very musty smell and the linens were damp. Called the front desk and they were happy to give another room but that room had a smell as well. The sheets were also damp in the second room as well. The hotel is due for a complete renovation, it was an amazing hotel 10 years ago.
