Absolutely loved Akaroa and this Motel was superbly located right in the middle of the town where everything is going on, but was also quiet for sleeping.

Nothing. Just note there is no lift so bags have to be carried up stairs.

"Definitely recommend the Criterion Motel"

We had a great stay at this motel. Handy to all the main shops, only two doorways from the French Bakery. Very clean and tidy. Friendly and helpful hosts. Checked out some of the other accommodation options in town, we made a good choice with the Criterion Motel.
