Fairfield House - Ayr

Great hotel just a little dated

Really enjoyed our second stay at Fairfield House, we will return in the future, a first choice for a short stay in Ayr.

Staff friendly & helpful, nice food in the restaurant. Rooms too warm & a little dated. Overall stay pleasant

Relaxed but busy. Room comfortable and breakfast very good. Close to the Low Green. Restaurant very busy and car park filled quickly

All the staff were very efficient and worked hard. Our room was spacious and bed was comfortable although seemed a bit short. Breakfast was good and waiting staff very professional. Our bathroom could have done with some attention as two of the floor tiles were cracked . Also the sink drain seemed to need cleaning as very slow to drain and gunge came up .

We enjoyed our stay . And my grandchildren Had the best time . My sister just died from brain cancer . So the short stay done the trick . Would definitely go back . Xxxx

Dated in areas, thread bare carpets, flaking paint in bedroom, music loud from lower floors either leisure area or kitchen Restaurant food was disappointing, lacked taste and terribly presented
