We used our RCI timeshare to stay at Villa L'Auberge. It's a fabulous location in the heart of Del Mar. Our one-bedroom condo is very clean, comfortable and quaint with an ocean view. The added feature, we had full access to L'Auberge Del Mar hotel. The housekeeping staff [5-star] took great care throughout the week to ensure you were comfortable and refreshed our condo when needed. Just one note, the train does run close to the resort, but it didn't bother us.

The unit was good although we were told that there was no AC in the unit. It was cool enough at night to keep us comfortable. The location is a bit far from San Diego. We incurred traffic both ways during the day. The biggest issue with the train! It runs all day and latest was around 11pm Friday night and it blows the whistle!!! That sucked.

Comfortable place to stay with an ocean view and friendly staff.

Great villa, amazing view, personnel kindness, pool and gym were great as well.

The villa is a little isolated with respect the hotel’s amenities but still 10/10 worth it

Everything that was advertised!

We loved our stay at Villa L'Auberge. Situated just down the hill from the main hotel, the Villas are spacious, newly updated and have nice outdoor patios. We got a great value for our travel dollar here. The unit fit our family of 3 comfortably for 4 nights and was a solid choice for a centrally located basecamp. We spent time at the Zoo, Torrey Pines, and also ventured up to Oceanside and Encinitas. Nothing was more than 20-30 minutes away. The front desk greeted us with sparkling wine upon check in. The pool deck is cozy; we enjoyed the fire pits with some tea and coffee while our daughter had fun in the pool & hot tub. Mornings gave a perfect opportunity to watch surfers or walk down to the park. There are several restaurants, bars, and bakeries within walking distance. Del Mar has charm to spare, that's for sure! Next time I'll likely request a second floor room. We could hear a lot of footsteps at night. We especially appreciated the newly renovated rooms. The bathroom was large and featured new tile & a new shower. Even the pull out couch was comfy. We'll be back for sure next time we are in the San Diego area. Love staying in Del Mar!
