Villa L'Auberge

The hotel at this property is very nice but the villas are very outdated and a little beat up. Did the job, but not to be confused with the main property.

Very friendly staff

I loved staying at the villas. I've stayed at the hotel previously, which is amazing and the villas were perfect for an overnight staycation where we could use the hot tub and make an amazing dinner in the kitchen at the villa. Great views!

First off, this property is NOT the Hotel L’Auberge, so lower your expectations! The villa is small, but nicely equipped. Parking is very easy, as each unit has an assigned spot. Our unit had a great view, so no complaints.The mattress is terrible, and they need to replace it. No AC, so do not stay here during a heat wave. They charge $50 for resort fees, but there was no amenities.

The property was very close to the beach and we had a nice view . It is a very clean unit.

There was no air conditioning which would would not have been a problem but it was very warm and humid and you had to keep the windows open and fans on at all times. The trains ran very often and the train tracks are located very close to the property. We did not get a good night's sleep. I would not recommend this property and it it is very overpriced for a property that has no AC and is very close to a train track. We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and visiting family.

Meh. When asked about a/c staff said ‘we don’t have a/c in California’ You have to be witty to carry off sarcasm with a customer, particularly at the high end. He wasn’t. The staff did not seem over bright. I was asked three times about a parking voucher by the same person within 15 minutes. After I told her we had no car. Build quality of the entire resort crumby, compared to a relauscet chateau quality establishment.

Amazing trip loved the room and the view.
