San Giorgio Villa

Great location within minutes of the monasteries of Meteora and the awesome scenery. Great hiking trails and restaurants nearby. Staff was exceptional!! Friendly, courteous and engaging. Continental breakfast was delicious (including fresh baked bread) and ample. Sitting room gave the impression of being at home which added to the comfort of our stay. Very quiet location. Loved it - would be happy to return.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. They all speak English and will help you in every way they can. This is only a few minutes from the famous Meteora monasteries. They offer great breakfast! You also have access to a kitchen is you wish too.

This a family owned and manage hotel. The staff is friendly and makes you feel comfortable. The monasteries are located at a very short drive. I think you’d be able to visit all 6 in one day if you start early.

Bedbug and giant stains on sheets. We reported the bedbug, but nothing was done about it. The staff said she had an inspector come check, but the room and bedding looked untouched. They did not even move us to another room. Because we found one bedbug, we removed all the sheets and inspected the bedding ourselves. This is when we discovered the giant stains. I'm not just talking about a few droppings here and there. These were giant ones that covered a good 20% of the sheets. They had the sheets flipped, so you could not see them. I guess they also don't come in every day to clean and make your beds like other hotels. We had to put the sheets back and make the bed ourselves.This place is dirty! The staff was friendly. Breakfast was nice, but do not expect it to be on time. The location is in a nice and relaxing environment away from the busier Kalambaka. Overall, the place and decor look nice on the outside. But at the core, it is filthy.

Did have a small problem with the shower initially and is sorted straight away my moving us to a different room. Aways willing to drop us off and pick us up from the nearest metro station. Homely feel to the place. Would strongly recommend.

It is located near the Meteora so you can save your time in the morning. Staffs are friendly also and it’s quite cheap. But I think that it’s somewhat not clean at a bathtub.

We had a great stay here, for just one night and a last minute booking. The staff were very professional, friendly and helpful, the room /bathroom was large and clean, beds were comfortable and breakfast (hard boiled eggs, fresh bread, ham, cheese and jelly) was simple, but filling.

Its a family run guesthouse, they are very pleasant , it is located at the foot of the cliffs , very nice view specially at breakfast. Good value for the price.
