Swan Hill Resort

Room was noisy; fridge was frosted over and door didnt shut; I could hear the shower from the next room at 3am in the morning keeping me awake. I was told it was a " budget " room at $135.00 a night. I asked for a different room when l arrived as it was on main road with trucks, and was told, "NO" even though there were clearly free rooms. I asked for a voucher or refund as l had no sleep. I was told "NO".

Location is close to shops however with street frontage unit, large loud trucks rumble past all night

Bathroom paint peeling off everywhere and no ceiling fan. Old grease stains on wall. NO Microwave… seriously! The only motel in Victoria without a microwave. Carpet near windows had crud all over. Curtains only half open - broken. Room had a dank smell, like it had been closed up for a year. For $100, fair enough, but $145. No way. The only thing it has in common with a resort is the sign!

i’ve been to this hotel many times in my life. it’s missing a lot of TLC. rooms themselves are clean

everything needs maintenance or refurbished. rooms and bathrooms are outdated and not in best condition. some lights didn’t work. all water damage inside wardrobe. other facilities are also run down. pool,sauna ect. all the panels in the sauna are falling apart and ceiling will probably drop one day

There wasn't much to be overjoyed with. The room needed a decent makeover and up grade. The room faced the main road and it was noisy ALL night long. NO security lock on the door
