Petasos Chic Hotel

Staff are fantastic and helpful, great location in town and free rides to and from and use of the beach resort was a great bonus

We had a great time at Petasos. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Hotel was very nice with excellent breakfast and great views of Mykonos town.

Located right downtown, close to shops, restaurants, bars and beach. Staff are very attentive to details. We were able to get late check out, they even let us shower at the end of the day before taking our flight. Breakfast brunch is filled with diversity and good food. The room and hotel were clean. They even offer for free, shuddle services to the Petasos spa resort that you can enjoy the pool, views, gym, etc. for free. Would come back tomorrow :-)

The hotel location was wonderful, with great views over the crater, The rooms were stacked up the hill and just behind were the shopping lanes. We were just down from the busier lanes so it was less hectic and quieter. But the shopping lanes and restaurants, and fast food were right there starting 50 ' from the top rooms. there are steps, though. the hotel office/lobby are the lowest, our room Daphne was up at least 30 steps and the top suite was around 100 steps, but maybe 15 steps below the shopping lane that traverses the top of the crater from the church up to the cable cars. Great central location!. To get to the main traffic street takes about 5 minutes on declining steps and walkways. taxi and bus stations are about 4 blocks down main street. The staff was very helpful in arranging transfers and map advice. Some rooms are 2 levels so expect bathrooms on separate level from beds.

The hotel is well located. It is clean, comfortable and has great staff. Breakfast is good.

Petasos Town Hotel is a nice retreat in Mykonos town. A challenge to find at first, it is stairway walk up a hill from a prominent square. Lots of boutique shops around. Rooms are bright and clean. Friendly staff.

Great little hotel, with very nice staff. The location is perfect for walking through the town yet not stuck right along the noisy streets. The shuttle to the sister resort, Petasos Beach Resort, was amazing. We made use of the pool facilities, spa, and amazing view from this location. There is a beach a short walk away that is full of restaurants, although the beach itself is fairly crowded with beds and umbrellas.

The hotel's location is perfect for exploring Mykonos town, only 2 minutes walk down to the seaside restaurants and shops. Our room was facing a motorbike parking on the street so was quite noisy. Bathroom looked tired though clean. The hotel has a beautiful roof terrace with views over the port and you could also see the windmills! Wi-fi only works in the reception area and on the roof terrace. Once a day the hotel organised a visit to their sister hotel in Platis Gialos which is a 5 star hotel so be prepared to spend double for food and drinks. Very nice hotel with top service but for us it got a bit boring after a few hours so we hit the beach which was only 10 meters away. On our last day we needed a transport to the port but were told since we didn't book in advance that wasn't possible (even though the night before we mentioned we will need it and were told there won't be a problem). There were no taxis that we could book as there are only 30 of them on the whole island. So we and a few other guests ended up waiting around after checking out for a taxi that might or might not be available! In the end we arranged our own transport.

Very quaint hotel with very helpful staff. When checking in, they gave a very descriptive introduction to Mykonos and all the places to visit and recommended restaurants without being prompted. Hotel is located right above the main harbor and easily accessed by a short walk. Breakfast was just fine and sufficient. Rooms are typical European with the bed consuming 80% of the room and a tiny shower (I'm 6'6", so most showers are tiny). There was a small balcony for relaxing in the evening. Upon our departure (5:15 AM!), they prepared some coffee and food for us. Very thoughtful. We used the access to their partner hotel at the beach for two days, which was fantastic. I would return again if visiting Mykonos.

Both George's from the front desk were very kind and helpful! They were both filled with so much knowledge about the island and their hospitality was more than I could ask for! They made us feel welcomed the moment the transport van dropped us off. So glad that we chose this hotel to enjoy our honeymoon in Mykonos! Thank you, George's!
