Petasos Chic Hotel

Stayed for 4 nights in July 2015. Booked early to avoid the crazy last minute prices that are charged in Mykonos. The hotel is very central Mykonos town but is easy to get to from the main road on a bike or quad, with an area to park outside. The hotel is relatively basic ie no pool/gym/restaurant etc as are a lot of the hotels here. However, guests have free use of the Petasos beach hotel (free daily 15min bus) which is a resort spa hotel, we did this every day.. Loved it. The town hotel as a nice roof terrace for watching the sunset and also nice outside area for breakfast. Overall a really nice stay. Final word, the reception staff (mainly the guy who's name we forgot but seemed to be there all day every day!) were super friendly and helpful, really couldn't do enough. Would return !

This is the best hotel in Mykonos. Very friendly and considerate staff, good breakfast, clean room and an attractive, spacious balcony where we viewed the best sunset in life. On our late night arrival at the hotel, we even received a welcome with champagne! Everyone should consider this hotel first if you go to Mykonos.

The customer service at this hotel is outstanding. Everyone is super friendly and more than willing to go above and beyond. The location is a very convenient walk to the Mykonos town. Trying to find the hotel can be a little tough as it's tucked away behind some lengthy steps from town or a little alley from the roadside. The hotel offers a shuttle at around 10am every day to their sister property that's right on the water. You get access to all of that hotels facilities, pools, and private beach. The only downside is the once a day pickup and drop off however the public bus is available if you can figure out the transportation system. Overall it was a great place to stay with friendly staff and an easy walk to town.

Staying as a single I did not like how many dark creepy steps you had to walk up to get back to the hotel from town... I guess I could have caught a cab for about 3 or 4 euro. My room was big but had no balcony which most did, also a very small shower. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and the facility to catch a morning bus to their sister hotel at the beach -which has a big pool and bar - is terrific! I can't say enough lovely things about the staff. Everyone was very pleasant and professional and helpful. Nicolas in particular is on hand to help with everything and does so with a big smile.

We had a wonderful stay at the Petasos Town Hotel. Thank you to Nicolas at the front desk for all his ideas of what to do and where to eat. The access to the Petasos Beach hotel was also a huge benefit of a place to get out of town to relax by a beautiful pool and swim in the Agean Sea or in the pool. Both were lovely.

Hotel was in a great location with the best staff and friendliest staff to help you with all your needs. The location could not have been better for someone who wants to get around and stay near the local party scene. Can't boast enough about the amazing staff. Breakfast and it's setting was great!!!! Looking forward to going again.
