Angel of the Sea Bed and Breakfast

My husband and I stayed at the Angel of the Sea on two separate nights to break up a longer journey. On both occasions the staff were very welcoming. Our rooms, (different on both occasions) were clean, and inviting, and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional, with a varied and delicious menu, a delightful breakfast room and attentive, friendly staff to serve you. We will definitely stay here again!

There was nothing that we didn't like.

The staff was amazing. They were all helpful and kind. I was really impressed at theor vegan offerings for breakfast. I expected to have to make due with fruit and toast. Instead, I was given a delicious tofu scramble, breakfast potatoes, vegan sausage and a bagel with plant-based butter. The staff was so kind and it was so nice to be so accommodated.

My only issue was the bed. It was not comfortable at all. Also, the blinds did not filter out the light.

Everyone was so friendly and the food was delicious!

The room we stayed in needed a good dust job. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice and big. Also, it would be nice to have blackout curtains for those who like to sleep in.

Overall location was great - ocean block; Victorian charm; entire staff was friendly and always very helpful. Bonus: daily tea time and wine time with antipasti 😁

We had one of the bigger units in the 2nd building with a king bed. Room was quite charming, however the mattress itself was not great. It had a large “bump” down the middle with both sides “drooping “ downward. That made for uncomfortable sleeping.
