The staff was fantastic. Everyone was attentive, welcoming and accommodating. It was just as we remembered it when we visited 14 years ago and got engaged.

Our room was too small

EVERY MEAL AND THE AFTERNOON TEA EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS, THE WAIT STAFF AND PETE WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND MADE SURE WE WERE TAKEN CARE OF AND COMFORTABLE. A 5 STAR EXPERIENCE. THE ONLY NEGATIVE PART OF OUR STAY WAS HAVING TO NAVIGATE TO THE THIRD FLOOR SINCE MY WIFE HAD JUST RECEIVED INJECTIONS TO HER BACK WHICH MADE IT A CHALLENAGE FOR HER BUT IT WAS ONLY ONE NIGHT AND SHE HANDLED IT LIKE A TROOPER. THE ROOM WAS VERY QUAINT, SMALL BUT ENJOYABLE AND THE BATHROOM WAS TOP NOTCH. i WOULD GO BACK AGAIN AND ASK TO BE PLACED ON THE FIRST FLOOR

It’s a very special place and I have t been back there for 32 years.

There is nothing to dislike!

It’s away from the noise and crowds of downtown cape may. The breakfast each day was excellent. There is afternoon tea and wine and cheese in the evening and the staff is just wonderful

We were in room 28. The room itself was large, comfortable bed and plenty of light. The challenge was the shower. You had to get in and out of a claw foot tub which was hard enough in itself, but the valves were confusing and to keep from scalding yourself or standing in a freezing shower you had to get out of the tub and then figure out the correct way to turn the valves. This whole situation should be replaced by a standard stall shower
