"Very Good"

The staff were excellent. The amities were great like the breakfast, constant coffee and bikes or beach chairs to use. I felt comfortable for the most part.

I stayed in the 2nd building and the stairs were dirty looking. Like they had not been cleaned in a while. The room had all the amenities I expected and we enjoyed it. It was smaller than I expected for the price we paid. The room was not cleaned other than the bathroom and the bed when we arrived. It was not messy but we could tell nothing was wiped down. It is an old place an we could other people in their rooms. Nothing you can do about that and I understand. And even though you advise for us to contact you if our neighbors are loud after hours, I couldn't get out of bed at 1 in the morning to do it. Our neighbor upstairs came in at 12:30 am our first night. Proceeded to have loud sex and stomp around up there a little more. Again not your problem but kind of a bummer for the price I paid. So I won't be back.

"First time in the New Jersey shoreline, Cape May was a delight! Angel of the Sea as a lot to offer and the location is p"

Lovely old Victorian building, three floors high! Located across the street from a lovely stretch of beach. We enjoyed the early evening Wine and cheese offerings, absolutely fabulous breakfasts and very nice staff. Very quiet at night-a plus for us as we like having the windows open. Beach chairs, umbrellas and beach bikes are readily available and we took advantage of them every day.

While our third floor King Room 14 had a window view of the ocean, we couldn’t really hear the waves as there was a continuous circulating floor air purifier or A/C that drowned out the ocean. We paid more for an ocean view, so that was a bit of a disappointment. The bed was nice but with a weird assortment of lumpy pillows. Upgrading them would be a nice touch especially for almost $500 a night. Also, our bathroom door had a weird hook/latch to close instead of a normal doorknob.

The breakfast, the wine/cheese, the very friendly and accommodating staff. The decor was beautiful and historic, and the area was very quaint.

Cheaper would be good!

Our room was lovely. Very romantic in a Victorian style. The staff is really friendly and kind. The breakfast is served to your table with freshly cooked options. There is a 4:00 tea time for coffee, tea and desserts. Wine and cheese, antipasto was served at 5:30. And did I mention it is literally across the street from the beach! Heavenly
