The pet fee is low and reasonable, but it's not disclosed on Booking.com and should be. This is a Booking.com problem, not a Clear Lake Cottages problem. The fee should be disclosed and collected at the time of booking so I can factor it into the total price

It says “free crib available by request “. However they still asked to pay $6 for this. Also no electric kettle in the room. Everything else is fine

Unit itself was perfect….other than noisy refrigerator that kept us awake. Algae bloom REALLY stinky! Not their problem….we just didn’t know ahead of time. Dining in town very poor.

"ok cottage, don't try to rent a boat"

the view was great

We wanted to rent a pontoon boat and we waited for about one hour for the manager to show up and he never did. The front desk lady call him and texted him and he never responded, although he lives on the premises. We were looking for that part of our trip and could not do. The manager's service was terrible.

"Horrible AC"

The rooms are nice, but the wall AC was horrible. The day I stayed it was just over 100 degrees, and the AC didn't cool the room at all. I turned it on when I arrived as the room was crazy hot and went out to dinner for 1.5 hours. When I returned it hadn't cooled at all and the ACwas just blowing hot air. I requested a different room and they quickly moved me to another room. The new room was crazy hot, so I turned on the AC and went out to the pool until about 9:00 pm. When I returned it hadn't cooled at all. It was hotter in the room than outside, so I opened the windows. After about an hour it was finally cool enough to close the windows, but it was still around 78-80 degrees. I think the wall AC units they have are just to small to cool the rooms when it is over 90 degrees outside. I have stayed here before when the temps were lower and never had an issue. I will never stay again unless the temps are below 90.
