ibis Bulle La Gruyere

All spotless and comfortable beds. Aircon ok. Room was a bit tight for two people and their luggage. Not situated right in town, but this didn't matter as we were traveling on from Gruyeres into France.

Brand spanking new - great for business traveller - rooms spotless - breakfast adequate but not a huge choice - biggest problem is it's sandwiched between a new housing estate and factories - half the roads are not even on most modern maps - try finding it in the pitch black at night - the hotel itself seems oblivious to printing its own maps - just saying "the motorway is over there!" It's as if they think everyone lives in Bulle and has figured out its network of new roads

Hotel was nice, very clean. Building seemed pretty new. There was a private parking lot which was free. Breakfast was 15 CHF per person and included a buffet of a juices, breads, yogart, cereal, cheese, meat slices, apples, eggs etc. A bit expensive but the food was good. The hotel was about a 2 minute drive from downtown Bulle where there were some good restaurants.

The hotel has a lot of good things to boast: the location is very good, the balcony of our room opened up toward high peak mountains, the view was excellent in the mornings. Rooms are neat and clean. Breakfast spread is very good- although the service could be a bit more quick.

It was very good considering it was an IBIS, however, it does feel like a chain motel with no charm!

Hotel is new. Rooms rather on the small side but clean.

This hotel is a good place to stay, when planning a car trip to a countryside of the French canton of Switzerland. It's a very good price for what you get. I would advise it to my friends.

The hotel itself is quite good and new. Shower was great. Cons: more than 15 min walk from train station and no real restaurant for dinner so one needs to head to downtown Bulle. BTW there is no public transportation to hotel so be prepared to walk or rent a car.

We stayed at this new property one of the nights of our 7 day Europe trip. It was the cleanest, best staffed, pleasant, property, as well as it was the most affordable. We paid twice as much for properties that were smaller, older, not as clean, and had staff that didn't care.This property is on the outskirts of town, quiet, but definitely worth the trip.
