ibis Bulle La Gruyere

Hotel caters well for an overnight stay. Good bar service and breakfast was sufficient. We were loaned power adapters which was very helpful. I requested a disabled room and was given an accessible bathroom with grab bars and walk in shower. The room itself had only just enough room for me to turn my mobility scooter around in. The threshold in the doorway of the room was too high for my mobility scooter to get over in and it was necessary to lift it over. This was an incredibly difficult task for someone with limited mobility. Good parking and access in the foyer.

They charge 5chf/day for parking although that isn't clear on the website. There's no reason to charge at all since the hotel is in a field and has a big empty parking lot. No outlets next to the bed which is really strange for a new hotel. We couldn't get the a/c to come on. We paid for breakfast since it isn't included and the food was very minimal. And finally, the hair dryer was a joke. When you add the cost of the room, parking, and breakfast, it's better to just pay more to stay somewhere else.

Friendly and helpful staff. Mattress too soft. You could hear everything from inside the room. Parking extra Fr 5 per night.

Great staff, good breakfast, and clean rooms. 5 CHF for parking may be a bit too much.

Overall good stay. No real food selection - minimal- frozen pizza,etc. nothing within walking distance. Town close enough drive to eat locally. Good one night stay. Beds comfortable and WiFi was good. Room and bathroom clean. The paying 5fr/nt for parking was kind of insulting. Huge empty parking lot available. Overall would recommend.

Reception terrible! Arrived late, barely acknowledged at reception but made to feel a royal pain as he could not find the booking we'd just made through an online agency. Tom 15 mins during which he barely spoke or looked at me. Another uk couple got the same treatment from another young chap on reception who came out to see to them!

The Ibis was easy to find, park at and check into. Customer service was polite and friendly and the hotel was very close to the two destinations we wanted to visit - Montreaux/Lake Geneva and Chateaux Gruyeres/The HR Giger Museum in Gruyeres. The room was clean and standard but the beds in Europe drive me crazy so I feel I have to note that you will almost never get a 'double' bed - it's just 2 singles pushed together.

Nice hotel however fire alarm at 11:30pm, no info from staff, no verification from them, no excuses no explications the next morning. Situation poorly managed
