Civitel Akali Hotel

Nous sommes déçus pour un hôtel 4 étoiles. Les chambres ne sont pas au goût de l’hôtel en général, et ne sont pas très confortables. Nous avons demandé à plusieurs reprises dans la même matinée le nettoyage de notre chambre et le personnel de nettoyage n’est jamais venu ( alors qu’il était dans le couloir ). Nous avons voulu commander un room service à 19h30, mais manque de chance, ce soir là, la cuisine était fermée ( et ce n’était pas prévu ) je trouve ça inadmissible pour un samedi soir en plein mois de juillet. De plus, le personnel est très peu agréable, hormis à la réception où ils n’ont pas manqué de nous conseiller … Enfin, les photos de la piscine sur le site sont très peu identiques à ce que nous avions pu voir lors de notre séjour… Une piscine décevante avec un environnement très peu agréable. L’hôtel est bien mais pour son prix vous pouvez trouver bien mieux et beaucoup mieux placé en centre ville de la Canée. Si vous cherchez des hôtels de type 4 étoiles, la ville d’Agia Marina juste à côté propose ce type d’hébergement.

Location was perfect- close to Old town and close to beach. The bartender who became the waiter to dinner was very friendly and great customer service. Nice breakfast and beds comfortable. Good dinner.

The view was pretty bad- a view of a crumbled down building. TV- on third floor needs to be smart Tv like the 4th floor.

We had a fantastic stay at Akali Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The hotel is beautifully maintained, with clean, modern rooms and a peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to relax. The staff were absolutely amazing — incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always helpful with any questions or requests. Their warm hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable and really set the hotel apart. One of the absolute highlights was the breakfast — truly outstanding. The spread was generous and varied, with something to suit every taste. Freshly baked pastries, local cheeses, olives, seasonal fruits, eggs made to order, and rich, aromatic coffee — every item was high quality and delicious. It was the perfect way to start each day and a real standout of the stay. Overall, Akali Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I’ll definitely be back!

Easy, convenient to get around by foot and the beach is a stones throw away. Lovely stay.
